3 BIG Lessons about a Co-operative Home Business vs Trump's Celebrity Showdown

3 BIG Lessons about a Co-operative Home Business with Own Your Channel versus Trump's Celebrity Showdown

Even busy networkers relax on Sunday evenings and while "surfing" the channels, I caught the last half hour or so of Donald Trump’s latest Celebrity Apprentice show. He was making a decision about who would hear his famous "You’re fired." It made me happy because $100,000 was raised through hamburger sales for a diabetes charity. That’s a good thing because Type 2 diabetes is one of the fastest growing health problems especially with children. But the ending also made me very unhappy just based on how the final boardroom decision was handled. The image of a butterfly stuck on a pin came across clearly.

The women’s team raised the least amount of money (could it be because they sold hamburgers for $25 versus the men’s team with $100 offerings). So by the rules of competition someone on the women’s team had to be removed or downsized. The implication was this person was the least helpful and productive and would be voted off by peers’ consensus.

Well, here’s where the CEO ran into some demonstrative frustration..enough to make him utter "bleeped" words. The question posed to each woman was "Who most contributed to your team’s failure and who would you fire?" Each woman seemed uncomfortable in pinning blame because they cooperatively felt that each one had done diverse responsibilities well. I think women’s nature tends to affinity, nurture and group protection. In the end, they were forced, and I choose this word carefully, to eliminate one of their own…who just happened to be creative and accomplished in her own right..but older, as if that had anything to do with it…

Therefore, here are 3 lessons to learn from this showdown:

Lesson #1: unhappy endings are not good for the public psyche and repress people's hopes...

WHY? it gives the public perception that business success is somehow determined by numbers only, by competition, appearance, contacts, and status.

The view is that it’s a "dog eat dog world" out there..and who would venture out to "swim with the sharks." If such high achievers get battered, then I don't even have a prayer...I'd be the "biggest loser." Even working long hours, getting paid minimum wage by a difficult boss would be more acceptable than entrepreneurship.

Lesson #2: stronger belief that co-operation and even weak links build network marketing success

WHY? A network marketing home business is the best way for women and men to make some serious supplementary money from home. But again, this particular home business model needs to be done right with integrity and compassion to help…not to find reasons to eliminate each other. In fact, it can be said that network marketing works because it can be also be based on the weakest links. The basic functions are the same...leverage information, duplicate simple plan, and earn residual money from multiple levels. Everyone who has a strong enough WHY reason or dream can follow 3 simple steps, irrespective of background, age, education, ethnicity, experience or culture.

This is why programs that stress celebrity success at the risk of demoralizing more personal perceptions can do more harm than good. We watch and classify how top people are beaten down. How can we detach from their fears, disapprovals or indecisions? Where do our dreams fit in? Maybe our WHY is not worthy enough? Maybe there is too much grinding, struggling, chest-thumping and brow-beating to reach it.

Lesson #3: continued wholehearted endorsement of social network of entrepreneurs called Own Your Channel.

Why? The name of the show is Inclusion..not Exclusion. Everybody is welcome to participate with a few simple steps to success. It's about sharing a powerful video and webinar. In fact, if there is a "cause for firing"..it is because you talked too much instead of letting experts tell the whole story for you. It’s $9 a month ($15 entry fee). You become part of the Entrepreneurs Assembly Line. You get your questions answered politely. When ready you can join profitable companies. You don’t need massive training to be the best you can be..it's not about company, product or compensation…it’s about you and what you hope to achieve as an independent home business team owner.

You will be invited to join a new affiliation with LGN (Little Guy Network). If the one time entry fee is unmanageable, you will be placed in Clearing House for sponsorship.

The power of your WHY is possible and welcome here. A corporate CEO will host the webinars for you. You will NOT hear the words "You're fired" but sincerely hope you DO get fired up instead after watching the video and webinar.

Questions and comments are always welcome.

Believe in your Dream for Home Business..don't cry "why not me"..celebrate "I can do this"

Believe in your Dream for Home Business..don't cry "why not me"..celebrate "I can do this"

Today I’m going to pay tribute to Susan Boyle, a middle-aged, unemployed Scottish woman from a small village who had a dream but nobody gave her the chance until ….
Watch her introduce herself and watch performance for yourself…

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-KiGva9dV4

So, of course, you wipe away a few tears about an extraordinary song from a beloved musical composition from an unbelievable talent and indomitable human spirit and unquestionable skepticism but "there is no average."

The power of a dream shakes you to your very being.

I want a dream like that…don’t you? Not necessarily on a stage in front of judges in a nationwide competition with a mesmerizing, God-given vocal talent. Very few can be blessed with a seemingly inborn physical ability and natural love of singing or any other aptitude.

But what about an emotional, psychological need to be the best we can be if only we had more money and time freedom?

What if my dream was basic to have a simple home business that provided me with as much income as I desired, small or large, dependent on how much time I spent.

What if this home business was based on the network marketing concept? What if I had a simple 3-step business plan that explained the business model about leverage, residual income and duplication? What if, with daily affirmations, I had no more excuses about the level of self-confidence, self-belief and success I can achieve.

What if my home business was based on a one-of-a-kind healthy product for my family. I could put my trust in a doctor with 20 years experience in nutritional science. I could believe in Mother Nature’s pharmacy with whole foods and sea vegetables.

I don’t have any more what if’s blocking my dreams of independence. I will never allow 2 words to obstruct my way to a better lifestyle. What are your obstructions?

I’m also here to help every middle-aged person, every Susan Boyle without the voice, who wants more to celebrate her life…to listen to applause, both internal and external.

If you have a strong enough dream...I can show you the home business model (Part 1 of 3), marketing plan, education tools and self-empowerment to get you ready for CHANGE that you richly deserve.

I believe in you.

Your questions and comments are always appreciated.

Sincerely,
Annemarie

Make your Home Business Choice: 10-Step Cha-Cha-Cha or 3-Step Shuffle?

Your Home Business choice: 10 Step Cha-Cha-Cha or 3-Step Shuffle?

No one ever said starting a business would be easy, but once you make the decision to start one, it’s all you can think about. You’ve probably checked out numerous home business opportunities. Here is an interesting analogy to help your decision making process

10 Step CHA-CHA-CHA for Home Business Professionals

STEP 1: Do What You Love…GREAT IDEA
Believe in something you can share with others to make their lives better

STEP 2: Do Your Homework
Prepare a cash flow plan with accountant…budget..expenses.. return on investment.Make sure you have enough money and resources.

STEP 3: Create a business Plan
Set short term and long term goals, prepare for setbacks, source of funding, marketing expenses. Use templates for step by step creation.

STEP 4: Research the market: Are people already paying someone for the product or service you want to offer? What is your Unique Selling Proposition? Competitive Edge? Find out what your competitors are doing—
Always try and offer something that no other company provides or fulfills a solution to a problem or need It’s called staying on the “cutting edge”

STEP 5: Set a Realistic Price: If you create your own product, make sure the price you set is based on presentation, statistics, and credibility. Pretend you are the client and you are looking for something fair, competitive, and sensible. Always take overhead and production costs into consideration to include the final price to ensure you make a profit.

STEP 6: Create Your Image, Brand or Logo Your image or brand will define your product or service and is one of your most important assets and how people will talk about your company. Don’t spare the expense here. You want to set positive first impressions and opinions…Will a potential customer want to recommend or return?

STEP 7: Create Professional Informational Material:
Be ready to distribute one-page flyers or brochures or an informational website. Make sure your look is updated to attract new business.

STEP 8. Plan Your Strategy. Set up a business plan that outlines the details of your business, organization, overall goals, trouble-shooting, and how to track and measure results. This Business Process is essential to streamline and help you avoid potential problems. Customers appreciate efficiency and ease of use.

STEP 9: Your Marketing Plan ..this is the BIG ONE! THE GRAND FINALE! THE BIGGEST EXPENSE to fit into your budget! Lack of marketing is the #1 reason why any business fails.

This includes some complex maneuvers such as advertising channels at the local level, reaching your primary target audience, joining local chambers of commerce, leads groups and/or business organizations to develop strong business relationships for qualified leads and referrals, checking out Business Directories. This is for offline advertising..and now, of course all the new online marketing to establish brand awareness..blogs, websites, social media….this is huge and if done well deserves massive applause from a massive audience.

STEP 10: Stay Positive…wow this is very important after all these steps
This is a standard expectation…To think positive…don’t let doubt or fear interfere with your goals..even when it gets rough, as it surely well from time to time. Keep steering..as long as your compass is set with careful planning and a well thought out strategy, you will reach the final destination of business success.

I’m thinking of the comparison now between another very popular TV show Dancing with the Stars. Those dancers are so professional and so successful with all those amazing steps and strategies..it boggles the mind..can we ever learn to be that successful?

But I’m not a business professional..and I don't have months or years but I still deserve an equal chance to dance, to dare, to dream, to be the best Ican be, to create a beautiful life for myself and my family…

For me , a 3-step Shuffle will do just fine as long as I get results…more and more profits for my efforts. I want the opportunity to plug into a successful company and they do the "heavy work" for me…

manufacturing, researching, pricing, competive cutting-edges, shipping, accounting, branding, promotional materials, accounting, back office administration.

In return I will help to market and recommend their products and get paid multiple commissions.

Therefore, the home business marketing plan becomes the key to my success…and a 3-Step Plan or Strategy is something I can learn easily:

STEP 1. Educate..get the facts so I know what to do
STEP 2. Empower..get the belief system..I’m good..I can do this..
STEP 3. Change is now very real and exciting…a sizzle phone call, an amazing network marketing company and extraordinary product.

The stars are within MY reach now
My judgment is my choice..will I? …won’t I? …wonder what if?..celebrate?
It’s my choice…my fortune..my legacy…
