Why attraction marketing doesn't work in network marketing home business..10 challenges

Why attraction marketing doesn’t work in a network marketing home business
10 challenges..

It’s a great feeling to have validation by top internet marketers. It has been the theme of my blogs and articles...KISP…Keep It Simple Please.

Attraction Marketing strategies don’t work.

We are talking about the context of the network marketing home business. This one-of-a-kind home business allows you to plug into a successful network marketing company. This allows access, as an independent team member, to the product, research, top management expertise, replicated website, marketing tools, accounting, and compensation or pay plans.
Your "job" is to help market their product and earn residual commissions
The keywords are help to market which is the lifeblood of any business.
Three key concepts are duplication of a simple marketing plan for residual income.

The Indivisible Rule: simplicity = velocity = profits

So there are many current programs based on “attraction marketing” or how to become the attractive, magnetic leader that others want to follow. This main strategy may have uniquely worked at one time within the common web 2.0 social marketing.
To become “attractive” you were encouraged to write articles and blogs, participate in forums and social sites, learn about videos, use e-books for funding proposals, build a huge list for traffic generation, attend /invite/follow-up on teleseminars, engage in active self-development that could take months or years.
I can name on one hand a few marketing gurus who have moved through these complicated ranks and raised their success ratios with these strategies. Now with resources and connections, their names are consistently seen promoting the courses / programs at costs to other would-be attractive entrepreneurs.

Personally, the world is not about brilliant superheroes but every day heroes who can make a difference given the right tools and prosperity mindset.

Personally, I did buy into the theory of YOU.INC or attraction marketing for a couple of years. I used superhero effort to hammer out a downline..but, not surprisingly, nobody wanted to do duplicate these efforts. But how much time was wasted in these social communities, training sessions, and over-saturated traffic generations can’t be calculated. Instinctively, there were several signs that this process wasn’t working such as people not returning calls or not attending training calls.
However, if this home business model was so strong, workable and believable, then why weren’t more people running towards my direction instead of away? What was missing was a simple, short comprehensive educational review and a basic 3 steps marketing system.

Now, I have finally heard from top internet marketers why attraction marketing doesn’t work anymore in the context of Web.3 social marketing...an ever evolving marketplace.

The challenges to attractive, self-branded leadership-style marketers are that they can’t get their teams to duplicate their success. Their approach doesn’t attract the masses:
  • information overload..too many resources, methodologies
  • too many parts and tactics… limited mastery of any
  • decrease of personal production with primary company in an overcrowded industry
  • way too time consuming...setting up training modules
  • no big picture overview..too many criteria…people need a trail of victory before they believe unconditionally
  • no duplication...people need the right basic tool for the job that every single person can do..I CAN DO THIS!
  • profits and personal growth are decreased via competitive market
  • expensive factors in both time and costs
  • not friendly to beginners who can waste time and money doing extraneous expectations
  • continued negative public reaction to an opportunity based on democratic ideals but underpinned by personal branding or attraction marketing mini-structures

In th end, people want to know four things in how to start a home business:

1. what do I have to do..3 steps marketing plan

2. who will help me..professional tools and team members

3. how much will it cost...start as low as $40 monthly for valuable product everbody needs

4. how much can I make...potential of unlimited residual income

How is what you're doing now, working out for you?

In the end, this unique home based business built on a few network marketing principles needs a professional presentation that is simple to get started and duplicated, that provides a safe, like-minded community in which to interact and which promotes grassroots capitalism democratically where every person who wants a home business can make profits.

Your questions, comments, opinions are all very important. What are some of your experiences in networking marketing and home business..

How to get a Home Business Education with 2 Goals and 3 Steps

HOW to GET a HOME BUSINESS EDUCATION with 2 GOALS and 3 STEPS

Before you can hope to be successful in any business, you have to understand that business. You need to know how to contact your potential customers and get them interested. Whether you are offering a product or a service, people have to understand what it is, why they need it and why they should get it from you.

If your opportunity is also about how to start a low-cost home business, time effectively, then your customers also need a simple home business educational primer.

Traditionally, people gain a comprehensive overview of important subjects for general education by graduating high school. Career training or professional development comes through university programs. Tuition fees are generally high and time-commitment expansive from a couple to several years and post-education debt-loads can be overwhelming.

But what about if you want to learn new skills such as setting up a profitable home business?
Traditionally, you can take extra courses at a local college or evening high school programs, if available.
You can enroll in a distance education course with regular help and evaluations. You can do a self-help program in marketing and personal development. Online education can provide a base of knowledge to run a home business and most customers or future business partners can also deal with these strategies at their own learning rate. But how many other people will follow our example in learning about a home business?

Or you can try to learn business steps through hearsay by following the leader…a fellow generalist who tries to model after a trained specialist…a guru leader. There are too many unknown variables to make this experiment consistently successful.

However, with the unique home business model called network marketing your profits are based on multi-level application of a simple business plan. It is the business concept itself that needs to be duplicated and primary, basic, essential training is a given for just about anyone who wants to achieve success. Examples:
  • how to put the materials into practical application on day one
  • how to make a careful judgment about how your business grows (an overview)
  • how to market on the internet
  • how to market offline to people with traditional methods
  • how to properly train to attain personal goals
  • how to use 10 daily affirmations to empower personal belief system
  • how to explain complex business relationships with visual "signs"
  • how to integrate four fastest growing home business trends

The ultimate plan is with proper training, a home business entrepreneur can move above mediocrity and instability.

What if financial security can be based on a simple home business education that starts with a basic curriculum guide: Mini-Program for Maxi-Profits?

Let’s see how this fits into our concept of 2 Goals and 3 Steps for a Home Business Plan:

Draw two goal posts and join them with a straight line…the shortest distance between two points or goals:

HERE: GOAL #1: Reasons I don’t want to be here (current reality)
THERE: GOAL #2: Reasons I want to be there (future independent lifestyle

Now what’s the easiest, straightest way to travel from HERE to THERE.

1. Educate and Empower ..I understand the business concepts about this home business and I CAN DO THIS! YOU CAN DO THIS!
2. Plug into a successful network marketing company for valuable products and commissions.
3. Use a simple 3 Steps Marketing Plan for leverage, duplication and long term residual income. Enjoy a lifestyle with time and money freedom

It doesn’t get simpler than this for education, focus, motivation, action steps, and home business success.

Questions and comments are always appreciated,

Nothing makes me see 'red' than this old home business idea

Nothing makes me see “red” (even on Valentine’s Day) than this old home business idea.

Countless people are currently looking to make extra money from home in our troubled economy…it is a good positive reality check until some fiscal balance is restored. There are basically two choices for starting a home business…start from scratch or plug into a huge successful company as an affiliate and help market their products. This home business model is called network marketing by word of mouth advertising. It is an equal home opportunity business that everyone can do, if done properly, and many motivated entrepreneurs can make 6 digit incomes.

So why do I keep running across articles that emphasize the importance of becoming a “leader” in order to be successful in a home business that is ideally suited for “average people with above average dreams”, like me.

I simply do not desire to be a great “leader"…but I love to share and help and I deserve an equal opportunity to make money from home, don't we?

How many people do you know who aspire to leadership roles:

  • take time to teach others the right course to follow…work hard to lay the correct groundwork not me…let automated tools do the presentation
  • take time to memorize important facts about the company and opportunity so you don’t lack answers to your prospect’s questions...definitely not my role as an encyclopedia...let information tools tell the story
  • take time to empower others to believe in themselves…support, motivate… .partly me with conference settings but also let automated tools build their independent thinking habits
  • take time to show your benevolence. I’m totally in…I do not wish the role of BOSS. I understand your limits as an entrepreneur but I can also be firm to get something done for your own good.

Rather than trying to build a leadership profile…a magnetic personality..an attraction forcefield bursting with blogs, websites, articles, twitters, social visits, etc. why not use the ONE KEY to true success in this home business model..the one KEY that can truly duplicate to create fortunes…

A simple to follow marketing plan…not guru, not leader, not possible to duplicate!

A simple to follow marketing plan has the attributes of the best leadership

  • does all the important work…teaches, plans, affirms, visualizes, trains…covers all the main elements of business activity
  • supports a new person by plugging into a strong foundation of knowledge.…no need to memorize all the important facts about the company and the network marketing opportunity
  • saves massive time sacrifice...no need to spend hours trying to explain various elements for decision making
  • works non-stop 24/7 to build a solid network because everyone is on the same page of comprehension, attitude and success to go forward

In summary, let’s stop watching the handful of elite leaders at their pulpits preaching the benefits of “business leadership” attainable by 1% or 2% of the population.

Let’s instead embrace a simple to follow, read-and-share marketing plan that everyone can do and believe in and joyfully share. Let's believe in the democratic right to have a successful home business if we are willing to work for one.

Let’s bring people power back to grassroots capitalism.

Then I’ll be seeing “red” in generosity, gratitude and enlightedment.

Your comments are always appreciated.

An Old Classic, A Contrary Poem and a Valuable Lesson for your Successful Home Business

I love stories and so many times they harbor greater truths that can permeate more complex ventures like starting a profitable home business.

Most of us are familiar with the story The Little Engine that Could. It is a classic story that teaches the value of optimism and hard work. You may even say it is a metaphor of self-discovery…that if you believe hard enough in your dream you can achieve it.

In the story, a long train must be pulled over a high mountain. Various larger engines are asked to pull the train; but for various reasons they refuse. The request is sent to a small engine, who agrees to try. The engine succeeds in pulling the train over the mountain while repeating its motto: "I-think-I-can".

I think a short version of the story is worth repeating.

A happy little switch railroad engine was employed to pull a few cars on and off the switches…it was built small for that purpose. One morning it was waiting for the next call when a long train of freight-cars asked a large engine in the roundhouse to take it over the mountain. There were hungry children waiting for food and toys. "I can't; that is too much a pull for me," said the great engine built for hard work. Then the train asked another engine, and another, only to hear excuses and be refused. Each one had their own heart felt excuse…
I’m too grand… I’m too important… I’m too old… I’m too busy… I’m not smart enough
In desperation, the train asked the little switch engine to draw it up the steep mountainside and down the other side to help the waiting children.
"I think I can," puffed the little locomotive, and hitched itself in front of the great heavy train. As it went on, and the grade got steeper and steeper, the little engine kept bravely puffing faster and faster, "I think I can, I think I can, I think I can."
As it neared the top of the mountain, which had so discouraged the larger engines, it went more slowly. It was hard...the little engine was gasping for air. However, it still kept saying, "I--think--I--can, I---think---I---can, I----think----I----can.”
Finally, it reached the top with its last great lunge and unbroken bravery. “Yes, I can do it!” was the triumphant cry. Then down the mountain side it sped, congratulating itself by saying, "I thought I could, I thought I could. I thought I could."

MORAL: An unbreakable belief in YOU will rise to the occasion and save the day.

Now, here’s another look at the same situation by one of my favorite poets, Shel Silverstein (1932-1999). He has developed a repertoire of somewhat satirical but whimsical ways of looking at the ordinary things.

The Little Blue Engine

The little blue engine looked up at the hill.

His light was weak, his whistle was shrill.

He was tired and small, and the hill was tall

,And his face blushed red as he softly said,“I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.”

So he started up with a chug and a strain,

And he puffed and pulled with might and main.

And slowly he climbed, a foot at a time,

And his engine coughed as he whispered soft,“I think I can, I think I can, I think I can.”

With a squeak and a creak and a toot and a sigh,

With an extra hope and an extra try,

He would not stop — now he neared the top —

And strong and proud he cried out loud,“I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!”

He was almost there, when — CRASH! SMASH! BASH!

He slid down and mashed into engine hash

On the rocks below... which goes to show

If the track is tough and the hill is rough,THINKING you can just ain’t enough!

MORAL: Can’t think your way out of problems, you must TAKE ACTION that are different from the problem. In other words, you can’t solve problems with the same thinking that created them.

SO WHAT IS THE VALUABLE LESSON for a SUCCESSFUL HOME BUSINESS?

At least a couple:

First, about self-development and dreams…

There are limitless resources about self-development strategies or how to self-actualize your powers to be and overcome Life’s balancing acts.

Countless self-development “gurus” have created fortunes for themselves on the foundation that people are insufficient within themselves to realize their potential, and they need to be prodded, envisioned, molded like clay by masterful hands into someone special.

All kinds of self-empowerment tools can be found such as motivational toolkits, emotional bank-accounts, vibrational medicine, guilt-free relationship plans, ego joy mind-maps, psycho-spiritual integration, manifest destiny, divine guidance, and interpreting the secret behind the secret.

To some extent, these gurus are helpful to show there is far more to living well than advertisements, reality shows, money, or fame. It is pushing yourself beyond pre-set limitations and finding joy in small things like “the finding of heaven in a grain of sand” that makes all the difference.

Second, about actions and dreams…

The one valuable lesson I have gleaned from a few decades of life is the importance of TAKING ACTION with a SIMPLE PLAN.

..nothing moves until something moves (Robert Ringer…an entire book)

..the shortest distance between where you are and where you want to be is a straight l.ine of action (Mark Joyner… an entire psychology of daily steps)

Nothing develops self-esteem, motivation, goal-setting like SUCCESSFUL ACTIONS.

Nothing increases your odds for success than PRACTICE and SIMPLICITY.

Of course, you will be excited if your simple action plans are productive and make extra income from home. Of course, you will try even harder to get more positive results. The more you get, the more you’ll try…this is not rocket science or reams of psycho-therapy.

The only self-discovery, self-empowerment or self-motivation tool you need is YOU based on a simple ACTION PLAN THAT DELIVERS.

Just imagine you were making a 5-digit monthly income? I think you will find all kinds of ways to celebrate your new self-confidence and lessons in living well.

Always standing by to talk,

AnneMarie
