THE EQUALITY OF HOPE


We all share a common humanity. We share time with the same hours in a week...rich or poor. We all experience births, growing up, and deaths. Seasons come and go. We understand honesty, loss, optimism, forgiveness, regret, fun, and success. Our actions cause reactions...even inactions sometimes can make a huge difference.
It is at the point of a decision that our destinies are decided (Robbins)


We have equal hopes that matter. We all positively hope for healthier lifestyles and being home with our children and loved ones, enjoying family vacations, field trips, concerts, and sports. We agree, hopefully, with building financial security, saving money on taxes, funding college educations and embracing a solid, golden retirement.


We do not hope for high blood pressure or medical expenses, excessive stress, lack of energy, rigid schedules and long hours, job insecurity, high credit cards, empty savings accounts, stock market volatility, inflation, pension deficits.

We share an Equality of Hopes. We deserve the right to fulfill them. Agree?


THE INEQUALITY OF HABITS


It is sometimes said that network marketing home business is not so much about products as it is a vehicle to achieve a more positive lifestyle. There isn’t any other business where the “heavy lifting” is done for you in order to produce huge profits for the home business owner as well. But it must be done right…And that is why a new transformation in this industry is changing MLM forever.


So why do people say “No” outright or feel only a passing interest in checking out something that ultimately can fulfill their common hopes and dreams?


The main obstacle is a big wall of HABITS with the sign "I know that enough..so I’m not interested."

• 2. It is our habits that give us a sense of learned helplessness or a giving-up reaction that whatever you do doesn't matter. Your “yesterday” mind takes you prisoner and sets limitations and fears for the new and improved opportunities.
• 3. It is our habits that direct our personal responsibility and drive our discipline and self-control. It is our self-talk that fuels or derails our self-beliefs that we also deserve better, hopeful and positive lives.

First, you need to acknowledge that changes are here to stay and you have no control over the powerful forces out there…it’s a jungle out there and the biggest seem to survive best…but we are all entitled to equal opportunities.

The bad news is that this recession has caused an unemployment rate that hovers about 10%. Joblessness has wreaked financial and emotional changes and hardships for countless people. Unemployment has caused major life changes and mental health issues for millions of Americans, a New York Times/CBS News poll found.

Now here are some of the realities faced by unemployed workers which applied to nearly half of them

• borrowed money from friends or relatives
  
• cut back on doctor’s visits or medical treatments and did not have health insurance
  
• suffered from depression, anxiety, insomnia
  
• encountered more difficulties with conflicts and arguments
  
• had trouble maintaining even the basic necessities ,paying house payments and other bills


• faced rising foreclosures and evictions


• more embarrassed and ashamed of being out of work (men more so than women)


• majority were rethinking career choices, moving, retraining


• took on additional hours or another job to make ends meet (or spouse)

Does receiving unemployment benefits cover basic necessities…61 percent said no.


Does the job market look promising for future security… 39 percent anticipate improvement, 36 percent expect it will stay the same, and 22 percent say it will get worse.


Who or what is to blame for this high unemployment rate?


The highest blame went first to government and politicians (37%), banks (8%), globalization (8%) and other causes


Another interesting note: Approximately 30% people in a nationwide poll said their salary had been cut due to bad economic conditions.

So is there a silver lining in this stormy economic prediction?

I just came across a statement signed “with love” from a networker praising his mentor for his video which lasted 77 minutes and resulted in his writing 3 pages of notes!


What’s the next step..passing this information to a friend or prospect and expecting him or her to repeat the “love message,” watch the long video and arduously take notes as well.

My wish for my team members is not long arduous videos and pages of notes followed by more internet “magnetic branding” exercises.

Network marketing companies give us the vehicle by which to make money..but it is our team spirit and dreams that drive it.

I’m moving on up..from clutter to clarity in my network markting home business in both a physical and a mental space.


I am physically moving from my downstairs home office to a new upstairs office that now adjoins a new backyard deck and patio.


In the process of moving, I’m also sorting and eliminating a lot of paper work. A lot of learning..but not much earning.


Do I regret all the paper work once managed? Not really, beause it has provided a solid foundation about network marketing principles and practices. Somewhat, because I could have spent more time with family and friends.


Would I recommend anybody else to follow or duplicate these calls, notes, downloads, research, training, manuals and binders full of transcriptions?


Never, not now... because I fully embrace the clarity and liberty with Own Your Channel.


Here is an example.


One turquoise blue binder about 4 inches thick held the majority of the main categories of notes. At one time, I thought a one-binder home business was actually a selling feature. Now it is one website and one video. Things are moving on up for everyone to participate in this wonderful business..binder or not. My latest experiences in this grassroots industry has been over-saturated with top-gun gurus, advertising expenses, endless training, list-building, time consuming social media....trying to brand oneself in the middle of massive herds of other self-branding online marketers. This has been a painful and expensive experience to say the least..and it doesn’t ring true for the average part-time home business networker.


Now there is a new dawning with a new knight called OYC. It is challenging this complex system that very few people can hope to follow, much less achieve.

There have been many blogs here about the network marketing model as the greatest simple home business. We have talked about the founding principle, three main business concepts, a simple marketing formula as well as things to watch for and things to run away from. We have looked at network marketing from different channels but never from owning your own channel…it’s a “road not taken” yet..and this will make all the difference.

Network marketing as a viable business model has much to offer, but first a major problem needs to be addressed..

My first conclusion was this: no matter what the company is or what products it ships or what markets it targets, there is one thing that is true for EVERY network marketing company. And that is,

Where would Sam Walton be today if he had spent billions of dollars building Walmart Supercenters all over the country only to put a single product on the shelf? He’d be out of business. Why do we assume we can do what he could not do? In other words, building a business around a single company is seriously flawed.

 If we are going to build a sales team (or channel), we should maximize our investment and put multiple products on the shelf.

So the results of my research are:


1. There is no other factor as important as the size of your team or sales channel. The size of your team determines the size of your check. Because of this fact, it seems to be putting the cart before the horse by joining a company before you start building your team.


2. You cannot justify the expense of building a sales channel (team or downline) if you plan to sell a single product from a single company.


A new idea is born:


It all boils down to one simple truth: if you have a big enough team, you'll make money in ANY network marketing company.
