Can Roasted Garlic Bread Help my Home Business…real or manufactured marketing plans?

As you know, or may not, I am considered a gourmet chef by many. Last night, after nearly 40 years of cooking, I tried something I haven’t tried before.

Who doesn’t love garlic bread to accompany a broiled steak, whiskey cream mushrooms, baked potatoes, and a fresh green Mediterranean salad?
Previously, garlic bread had been buttered and rubbed with a clove of garlic or slathered with a “manufactured” spread (convenience, right?)

Yesterday, however, I decided to make a roasted garlic puree to spread on thick slices of sourdough bread…about two generous tablespoons on each slice. Then the bread was broiled to a toasty crusty brown topping.
Well, my guests and I had NEVER tasted anything quite so delicious…warm, crispy, non-oily, pungent with a mild buttery garlic flavour…it was amazing. You have to try it to believe it yourself. The recipe is shared with you at the end of this blog.

The next morning, I checked the label on the bottle of the manufactured “concentrated” garlic spread. Here are the ingredients in the order of ingredients: partially hydrogenated
soybean and cottonseed oils, water, high fructose corn syrup, garlic powder, salt, soy lecithin, mono and diglycerides, carrot oil (for color), citric acid, potassium sorbate (a preservative)and last
and least of all, GARLIC OIL. Unbelievable! Is this even unhealthy or what ? You can probably hear how I hooted and how fast I booted that concoction into the waste bin.

Umm…so, as usual, I started to think about my home based business based on the network marketing model. On one hand, my marketing plan is as simple to deliver as possible..three steps and no other materials are primarily necessary. No expertise ingredients.

Everybody can do it...it’s naturally sharing information and caring about results.
In a similar way, you don’t have to be an excellent cook to make extraordinary real garlic spread brimming with goodness. Everyone can take a few garlic heads, roast and puree them into a most delicious and healthy garlic toast spread. There are no excuses for failure (unless you don’t follow the three steps and burn the garlic by too much cooking time.)

On the other hand, there are other marketing plans that are very difficult to follow.
They can be time consuming, include complex, multiple-step strategies online, and unfamiliar actions that need training modules. Examples include writing articles, blogging, magnetic lead attraction, social media interactions, leadership quotient. The focus seems to be on becoming a master manufacturer and then creating other master manufacturers. Some will but the majority will not. It is too complicated for the average “cook” to make much less show others the recipe.

Network marketing is a unique home business model based on simple marketing plans that do not depend on who is using them but still have all the critical elements in place.

What is more simple than a 3 steps marketing plan?
What is more delicious than garlic heads, olive oil, salt and lemon?
PS.that every guest can do as well

Roasted Garlic Puree.
4 large heads garlic
1/4 cup olive oil
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Chop off top of garlic head, and separate whole cloves, leaving tight outer covering intact.
Place cloves in a shallow 8-inch square baking dish, and drizzle with olive oil.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 30 to 40 minutes.
Cool and drain; remove skins.
Separate the head into individual cloves.
Squeeze out the cloves and add to food processor bowl (smoother texture)..or just mash with a fork. Add salt, pepper and lemon juice. Process 30 seconds or until almost smooth, scraping sides occasionally.

Now liberally spread on slices of favourite bread.

Broil till toasty brown.

Enjoy each mouth-watering bite.

If you have leftovers, squeeze out the pulp into a small dish, cover with olive oil, and store, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

How can knowing EVE increase your home business profits?



As an avid reader and retired teacher, I recently came across an interesting question and explanation:



Do you know what your EVE ratio is?

This is your entertainment vs education ratio.


Have you ever thought about how much do you spend every month on entertainment:

cable tv ______ movies _______ sports ______ hobbies ______ vacations ________ dining ________ internet ________ video games _________ social clubs _________ etc?


What do you spend every month in continuing education for personal development or adapting to new economic changes?


The average person has a ratio of 50 or 100 to 1! Do you think this could partially explain the cause of the current economic turmoil?

You can quickly figure out what your EVE ratio is.


Part 1: On a piece of paper write down some activities you like to do. Some examples for entertainment are listed above. Now beside each activity write down on a MONTHLY basis how much money you spend and how much time you spend. Add up the totals for expenses and time.

Part 2: Now write down something you learned from an educational program...cost and time involved. Add up total cost and time.

Now compare entertainment with education. What is your EVE ratio?
Are you thinking that maybe, just maybe, you could try and improve it? Would that change your potential for success in any way, shape or form?

Education is defined as “bringing up” (of the young or older...I'd add) systematic instruction, development of character or mental powers. And it is certainly far beyond any school instruction or system. LEARNING IS~A LIFETIME JOURNEY.


Now I want you to think of this comparison carefully.

There are two rooms... TV and To Be and you get to spend ONE HOUR in each room.

Which would you choose and Why?


In the TV room is a TV set and you can watch Housewives with fantasies, Reality Shows with unrealistic expectations, Entertainment by Fabulous People to make unfabulous people feel even more so... do as much surfing as you want.

One of the most popular ongoing shows is American Idol. The fascination is at many levels...but for me I am most impressed by the exuberance and the talent of these beautiful young people. Probably, most of us see ourselves standing “outside the ring of fire” but we still experience the dizzying range of emotion from the first overwhelming rush of adrenaline when being picked with the golden Hollywood ticket, to dedication to try their best before judges on the world stage (that would defeat most of us), to hopes, dreams; and for most, the heartbreaking words “you’re not good enough.” Only one will reach the peak after so many with so much huge talent have climbed the mountain of "sweat and tears" and belief they could “win”.

So it makes me stop and think about my home business based on the network marketing model.. It’s foundation is that everyone can apply..no special talents needed…just a desire to be more successful, more recognized, more financially secure, more lifestyle with freer choices.


If we’re not talented and beautiful, we can still perform important services. We can still achieve that sense of joy and accomplishment with a profitable home business helping others. Our God-given talents are the ability to communicate, to care and share. Shouldn’t there be some commensurate rewards for being good, responsible and seeking some credibility and independence?

There is no other Broadway “casting-call” that comes close to the potential of exciting success as a network marketing home business. BUT the process must be DONE RIGHT through education, self-empowerment and then change. The opposite doesn’t work…first embrace change, then feel good about it, and now go and tell others.

One of the most important elements in a mind-changing education is self-empowerment or self-belief I can do this, I deserve this, I can win.

And in this regard, the sweetest song I can sing, mainly to myself, or any one else who cares to listen, is this wonderful affirmation shared by a fellow networker called There's Always a Way .
Say it loud everyday…there’s always a way..see and feel yourself believing in purpose and achievement…there’s always a way.
No judge will discredit you.
An audience of people will sing along.
And your reward is to build a great home business to share with everyone.

This is my “golden ticket to Hollywood” and far more... in the sense that this will be my beautiful talent…and all I need to know.

How many times have you said to yourself...."How am I going to do this?"
This is a perennial question to all of us. Too often we get stuck in thinking and by buying into our insecurities and let opportunity pass us by because of some fear about not knowing enough, being enough, didn't know where to begin, weren't quite ready, and on and on.

The only way to reach the goal you set for yourself is to begin it NOW by taking a first step towards it no matter whether you know the final answers or not. Action will create momentum and momentum will create an ability to forge through any adversity you perceive is in your way. Just remember one thing There's Always a Way for you to have all you desire. The answers are right within you so stop telling yourself you can't and start telling I CAN!
Everywhere you are there is a power and presence that is aligned with the magnificence of who you are. This power is infinite in its wisdom, imagination, creativity, and desire to bring out in you the best that you can be. No matter what may appear on the surface, you have all the tools to have and build the LIFE you dream about. Remember one thing, you wouldn't be able to dream something if you didn't already have that dream inside of you.
It is so easy to give up and throw in the towel when you come up against a challenge you think is insurmountable. That's the very time you must ramp up your desire for success and find the ways you need to turn those challenges into opportunities. You can do it. I am currently (late winter) catching up on my paper work (blustery outside)…just organizing my home office materials so once the nice spring weather comes (just around the corner) I can spend a lot of time outdoors preparing my garden (infinite joy and goodness on the table later.)

So I came across a “blueprint” used a few years back about how to fit all the pieces together for a successful home business opportunity meeting.

You will probably be able to relate to this process as the “old school” of network marketing. I’m reviewing it here to show that one KEY ELEMENT is missing...one ESSENTIAL INFORMATION TOOL to build understanding and eliminate excuses is not here.

STEP ONE: start with the heading:
How to develop a written, long-term activity game plan for a successful home business.

Slogan: Success is a choice…work hardest on yourself.

STEP FIVE: Personal Blueprint to web together personal, business, financial, health and fitness, superior products, company’s track record opportunity, goals, business plan

NOW GO OUT and MULTIPLY your replicated incomes!

I don’t think so anymore. I spend 1000 of dollars and hours of precious time because I believed in the value of the products and the "freedom" business model. I wanted this to work because it is the only business model where average people with modest income and above average dreams can plug into a successful company for tremendous leverage. But very few others did. A key element of understanding was missing in this "big picture" potential.

Two things ran out loud and clear
1. I would never present a network marketing opportunity like this again

2. The most important part of how this home business works…the key source of power was missing... not even mentioned much less explained (and it is not "magnetic attraction" or "follow the leader" which only a few people can attain in this most democratic home business model that should be affordable, accessible and profitable by everyone. )

Where are the words:

LEVERAGE, CHANGES in the INFORMATION ECONOMY, DUPLICATION, MATRIX, SIMPLE MARKETING VEHICLE, ACCELERATED INCOME FORMULA…and more.



So how do I present this unique home business opportunity now?

Basically, it is the opposite…simply called 3 STEPS 2 RICH Home Business Plan


  1. EDUCATE first about this unique business concept called network marketing...explain the features of what works and what doesn't

  2. EMPOWER next with simple strategies to build a strong “driver” and self-believer…I CAN DO THIS…EVERYBODY CAN DO THIS!

  3. CHANGE…now that I’m smarter about how to improve my lifestyle within the context of the Information Economy...NOW I am ready to check out an extraordinary network marketing opportunity.


NOW I am excited about product, business, residual income for life.
I have no more excuses…unless I want them. Best of all, other people who also want better lives and futures will knock on my door to learn about leverage, information tools, and duplication with a simple marketing tool. Once they see the value of network marketing, then they will continue to be inspired by products and compensation, especially if their current lifestyle is uninspiring.

I challenge you to say NO once you KNOW how this home business works...

Currently, I'm speaking with many people looking for a legitimate way to make extra income from home doing something they can be proud of. In fact, one lady said at the end of a short slide presentation..."Now that I understand this home business model better, why would anyone say "no" to making money over and over again by using valuable products."

Coincidentally, I had read a similar article by Tim Sales two weeks ago. He had a similar response following his presentation from a lady who also asked, "Why would anyone say "no"?

Tim is one of the most professional networkers in this industry and his answer is thoroughly spotless. Read it in its entirety and I'd like to hear your opinion about "opinions" you have heard.

The answer I gave her is one you need to read... and KNOW so that you can explain it to your prospect. First let me say that some of our bad public relations, we've earned. We did it and we're paying for it. If you didn't do it, then you inherited the problem, therefore you have to fix it. But most of the bad public relations we've received was from either people who didn't (and still don't) know anything about the industry or people who have failed at M.L.M and now talk badly about it.

Basically, there are three types of authors of content:

1. They've never done what they're writing about
2. They've done it and failed and
3. They've done it and succeeded.
Note: My use of the word "author" includes both written and spoken communication..which is to say that ANYONE who says or writes anything!

The first type of author who has created bad public relations for the industry is the author who has never done M.L.M. Newspaper, magazine and television writers and reporters rarely have done M.L.M - their information comes from hearsay and as an "outsider looking in." Attorneys and even many professors often give advice on activities they've never done. The majority of the books at the book store are from authors who have never done what they're authoring about. They can write (or speak), but can not succeed at doing it. Their advice is rarely good because it's based on invention, another's opinion or hearsay.

This problem gets compounded when one hears something...and repeats what they heard from the media.

Now there are two layers of people who have never done it; but think they know about it. People who have never done or succeeded at it can not possibly place the correct importance on the subject! You can always identify authors who have never done it because their content is slightly (or grossly) off the main subject. As an example, I read a web site that wrote several pages about how M.L.M could not mathematically work. What?! That's like debating the "fact" that "scientifically" a bumblebee can't fly. Has it ever occurred to that author To LOOK? The oldest M.L.M company is still growing after 50 years!

A large amount of the negative public relations in M.L.M has come because too many people who have no real data on M.L.M make statements that other people believe because the author "appears" real; which they shouldn't.

The second group of authors who have created negative public relations for M.L.M is people who have failed at M.L.M. When someone has failed at what they write or talk about, it is common for them to be critical (inclined to find fault with) of the activity and those who do the activity. Why? Because something about the subject is a complete mystery to them and they feel a little [or a lot] inadequate. They obviously couldn't figure out some part of it - otherwise they wouldn't have failed!

As an example, let's take a person who tried M.L.M but didn't succeed at it. Because he has a little knowledge about the subject he can say, "I've done M.L.M and it doesn't work!" He'll typically state "what's hard," "wrong," or "dangerous" about M.L.M. Why? Because he never figured it out and someone who succeeds at it proves his inadequacy on the subject of M.L.M. His worst nightmare is people succeeding at M.L.M. If he knew exactly why he failed at it, he may zero in on that part and write (or state) negatively about it - perhaps how the upline makes all the money (which is the same in every industry). But normally he doesn't know why he failed so he tries to makes EVERYTHING about M.L.M wrong - including anyone who does M.L.M. Warning:

There are always more people who fail than succeed at every activity - so the general comments (written and spoken) on any activity will be negative. Now you know why someone would write, "So few people succeed at ______," and then they go on and advise you "not to do it."

Do not take advice from people who've failed at what they author about - they have an axe to grind and they don't want you to succeed at what they failed at as if you succeed it proves their inadequacy on the subject. The more people who succeed at it, the more fire-spitting mad they get about it. By the way, often how they personally tell you this is, "I'm just trying to protect you."

The third author type is those who have succeeded at what they write about. If an author has done and succeeded at the activity they author about, they are a valuable asset to you and their advice is worthwhile. They know what is important and what's not important about the subject.

Please notice there is a vast difference between someone who has been "educated" on a subject versus someone who can DO the subject successfully. Just because a person has studied a subject, doesn't mean they can do it. A beautician can study all about hair - that doesn't mean she can cut hair. A psychiatrist may have been able to listen to her teachers and may have been able to read the required text books and may have even been able to pass a state board examination on the subject - but can she fix another person's problems? If she can't, don't take her advice!

A student who has been educated on a subject has only proven that she can be a student successfully. She has not proven she can DO THE SUBJECT. So don't be snowed by someone who says, "I've been a student of the industry for 23 years." They have not proven they can DO M.L.M.

Author type number three is the person you should accept advice from on any subject you're researching. If you want to fail, take advice from one who has failed.

In a nutshell, those people who have never done M.L.M and those who have failed at M.L.M are the ones who have created the bad public relations and have confused people about the industry. If a person listens to author type number one or two and hears something "bad," they should ask author type number three about it. Author type three (the person who has succeeded at it) can put everything into the right perspective.

As an example, after one of my Brilliant Compensation events in Melbourne Australia, a guest asked me, "What percentage of people succeed?" Obviously he got the question from author type one or two. My response to him was that even though I've made millions of dollars, I personally had NEVER asked that question (even to myself) because no industry exists where the majority of people who do it make big money. I wasn't avoiding the question. I was simply letting him know that the question is truly irrelevant!

The right question to ask is, "How do those who make big money do it?"

Having a profitable home business in this economy is the right decision, but it's a tough process to start for both beginners and veterans. You want to minimize your costs and time and maximize your profits with proper support. But where to turn...who to trust...what to expect? Making no decision can be even worse because then you're mired in self-denial with an ineffective way to cope wih limited incomes and future securities.

Did you know that there are only TWO THINGS you need to
focus on this year to get out of the woods?
It's a very simple map.

So here you spent all day chasing down this path. Going after this cool looking plant,

exploring this bunch of flowers down another path.
And all of that was well and good.
But you forgot your goal.
It wasn't to snatch up pretty flowers. It wasn't to find nice greenery or bushes.

Your goal was to get out of the woods. And you were only two markers away.

I tell this story because there's a lot of truth in it. See,
you may have found yourself running hard to check out everything
in home business opportunities.

You've ran down this path. You've explored another.

You've gone for the prettiest or most promising flowers, bushes and trees.

You've headed down the path where the loudest noise was.

You let a flock of seagulls tell you which path to go down on the theory that the more seagulls

tell you to go that way, the more it HAS to be true.

But the seagulls aren't trying to get out of the woods. All they're doing is making noise.

So there you sit.

Maybe if you run FASTER and HARDER down a path, THAT will get you out!

Maybe if you ask ALL the animals there how to get out of the woods and get a CONSENSUS, maybe THAT will get you out of the woods.

Maybe if you go down the path with the most promising GREEN stuff on it.

None of that compares to a MAP from someone who has been there,
knows the way out and created simple markers to get you out.

Are you STUCK in the woods? Trying to find your way home?

What are you focusing on?

Who are you listening to?

The flock of seagulls? The path the most green stuff on it?

The loudest animals attracting their prey?

How about if you ran into someone else who is also lost in the woods and has

never been out. But they'll tell you which path will get you out of there?
Would you listen to them?

So there's a map.

It has just a few simple markers on it. And at the top of the map it says:

"How to find your "ideal home business" by someone who has been there and
done that. Over and over again."

How much would that map be worth to you?

Well, that depends on how badly you want to get out of the woods.
If it's getting dark and there are animals there and you REALLY
want to get out of the woods to safety, would that map be worth
a lot more to you?
'Cause if you don't get out of the woods, it ain't pretty.

How about $500? Would you pay 500 bucks for that map?

How about $100? How about $50?

Would you say, "I ain't paying $100 for that map. I'll just
spend the night with the animals even though I'm really hungry,
need food and I have nothing to drink?"

What if you could pick up your cell phone, call and have someone give you
instructions on following the markers to get out of the woods?

Would that help?

How much would THAT phone call be worth to you?

Think about it. Just think about it.

How are you gonna get out of the woods?

Which path are you following? Why?

How Will The Recession Affect Your Home-Based Business Opportunity?

Throughout history, Network Marketing, as a home-based business, has always had exceptional growth during difficult economic times (contrary to the naysayers...see next blog). Certainly, during tough times, people will not want to spend as they did during economic good times. That is true, but we are not talking about spending such as making retail purchases. Network Marketing is known as the alternative to retail distribution. As a member you can buy directly from the manufacturer. Not only do you redirect your spending for monthly consumables, but also you can make additional income dependent on your marketing efforts.


Here’s an interesting historical perspective:
The first MLM opportunities date back to the great depression of the 1930's.
  • Wachter's, a marine-vegetable (seaweed) supplement company, started in 1937 near the bottom of the Great Depression.
  • Nutrilite took off in 1945 during the economic decline immediately following World War II.
  • Shaklee and Neolife fared well in the post-Korean War slump.
  • Amway got a good start building with the slump in 1958.
  • Mary Kay started with the downturn in the 1960s.
  • Others like Herbalife in the 1990's, went into hyper growth during that recession and became a billion dollar company.

What does this tell you?
When recessions hit, people begin to look for alternative sources of income.

Consumer spending decreases; spending habits get re-prioritized. The future is fragmented and factored into issues of job security, dwindling 401k investments, stock market losses and home devaluation.

How secure do you feel your job is today? Do these terms creep into your mind…long-term…downsizing…getting fired…replacing your job? When recession hits, replacing a job is not an easy thing, but what are the options for finding alternative sources of income?

In my opinion and experience, the best of all alternatives is Network Marketing combined with Internet Marketing. No other home business comes close BUT it must be based on its core principles…a democratic opportunity for everyone, regardless of age, race, education, talent…just an innate desire to have a better life and independence.

MLM businesses can still be built offline…great social activities. However, today we have the advantage of the Information Highway running through our dining rooms and backyards. Today, we don’t have to relegate our financial problems to flipping burgers for more income. Today, the Internet Marketer can plug into a successful Network Marketing company for an exciting opportunity to make some serious income.

First, let’s look at the first “ditch.” It’s well explained in this article but to summarize: the “doll”, Barbie, has been setting “unrealistic expectations” for many girls based on “physical” dimensions (or lack there of). You only have to look at all the young, straight-long-blonde-haired, fashion-derivatives, thin pop stars sub-culture where even a 5 pound gain weight is supreme fodder for news media.

OK..so what is the connection between Barbie and Mr. or Mrs. Standard succeeding with a simple home business.
The link is between the words what is equal and what plan works
The question is what works equally well for every person who wants a successful home business and what works only for the “top producers who want to dominate the internet.”


First, this home business model called network marketing is build on the ground floor premise that every person who wants to achieve an above average lifestyle and independence can do so, irrespective of age, race, religion, education, or experience. There is no other business model out there that comes close to helping regular people achieve great dreams. It starts with a small amount of capital, a few hours to share information tools, cutting edge products that the marketplace needs and a desire to have a better life. Don't we ALL deserve this?!

The key to building partnerships in this business model depends on a simple marketing plan…3 basic steps can actually suffice:

  2. here is the company and product
  3. here is the marketing plan


Business volume, and therefore cash flow, is dependent on how simple it is to share through multiple levels of average people.
VELOCITY equals SIMPLICITY and vice versa.


Undoubtedly, Mr. and Mrs. Magnetic Personality can achieve very well in a home business where charisma, huge advertising dollars, technical expertise stand to rule. But folks, please hear this cry…network marketing is a special opportunity for the average people wanting something better…it is NOT about grooming "top producers."

Top producers are a small dynamic group with powerful strategies but they don’t duplicate over time. In fact I know a few top producers who work 7 days a week to maintain their cash flow because their members can’t duplicate their powerhouse strategies or expectations.

How to Start your Home Business with no excuses...just release your brakes

Hello,
Currently, I'm speaking with many home business opportunity seekers who are looking for something different, something better in these troubling economic times. Of course, they are smart to do that, and they need to be very careful about any final decisions, but I am still surprised by how many people do not follow through by not taking at least an informed look or guidance.

A mentor explained it as inertia...fear of moving...the unknown of measurable changes...the risk/reward balance...

I like to call it driving a worn-out J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) Work Model to a scary financial destination with a full set of brakes and blinders compared to other Home Business Models to a better "personal economy" and happiness.

This article by Brian Tracy came to mind and cannot be said better. You can overcome your obstacles by questioning your excuses.

Do you have any ideas or attitudes about yourself
and your abilities that may be holding you back
from great success and happiness?
As it happens, everyone does.

However, you can learn how to develop
the beliefs that can help you and get rid of
the false ideas that block you from realizing your full potential.

In her wonderful book You Can Heal Your Life,
Louise Hay says that each one of us has feelings of inferiority
that are manifested in the conclusion that we are not good enough.
We think that we are not as good as other people,
and we feel that we are not good enough to acquire and enjoy
the things that we want in life.
Very often, we feel that we don't deserve good things.
Even if we do work hard and achieve some worthwhile objectives,
we believe that we are not really entitled to our successes,
and we often engage in behaviors that sabotage our successes.

The fact is that you deserve every good thing
that you are capable of acquiring as the result
of the application of your talents.

Overcoming Obstacles

You need to develop your beliefs about yourself
to the point where they serve you every day in every way.
Men and women who accomplish extraordinary things
are just ordinary people who developed themselves mentally
to the point where they were able to overcome the obstacles
that stood in their way, and they kept on keeping on
until the goal was attained.

The most harmful beliefs that you can have are what we call
"self-limiting beliefs." These are beliefs about yourself,
most of which are not true; but they hold you back nonetheless.
Sometimes you, or others, will say that you cannot
achieve certain goals because you did not get enough education.

Questioning Your Excuses

The humorist Josh Billings once said, "It ain't what a man knows
what hurts him. It's what a man knows what ain't true."
It isn't the actual truth about yourself and your abilities
that hurts you; it's the things that you consider to be true
and that have no basis in truth.

The starting point of changing your beliefs is to get up the
courage to question them seriously. Question your basic premises.
Check your assumptions. Ask yourself,
"What assumptions am I making about myself or my situation
that might not be true?"

It's a fact that we fall in love with our excuses
and our negative assumptions. We fall in love with our reasons
for not moving ahead.

The author Richard Bach wrote this beautiful line:
"Argue for your limitations, and sure enough, they're yours."


Very often, we become the prosecuting attorney
in the case against ourselves.
We dispute and argue and attempt to prove to ourselves
and others that our limitations are real.
And the less justification these ideas or beliefs have,
the more adamant we become in attempting to prove them to others.

Whatever they are, resolve to challenge them.
Hold them up to the light. Imagine that you had absolute confidence
in yourself in a particular area.
Then, act as if it were impossible to fail,
and it shall be!

Action Exercises

Now, here are three steps you can take immediately
to put these ideas into action.

First, accept that you are as good and as talented
in your own way as anyone else you will ever meet.
There is nothing you can't accomplish if you really want it.

Second, challenge a belief or idea about yourself
that is holding you back.
What if you had extraordinary ability in that area?
What difference would that make in your life?

Third, stop making excuses for lack of success.
Instead, start making progress.
Think and talk about what you want and then get busy
making it come true.
